Susanne E. (Duquette) Beford,49, of 14 Ash Street, died Friday Apr.
14 at her mother's home.
She leaves her husband of 24 years, David L. Beford, her mother Elsa W.
(Stoesser) Duquette of Spencer, two brothers George E. and his wife Kimberly
Duquette, Jr. of New Braintree, Timothy J. Duquette of New York, N.Y., a
sister Laurie A. Kimball of E.Longmeadow, her nieces and nephews Rhianna,
Dane, Erica and Jacob, a sister in law Evelyn McGinnigan, aunts, uncles and
cousins. Her father, George E. Duquette, Sr. died in 2001.
Mrs. Beford was a florist at Price Chopper Supermarkets in Spencer before
becoming ill. She graduated from David Prouty High School, was a member of
Mary,Queen of the Rosary Parish, and was a former catechism teacher at St.
Mary's Church in Orange. She was an avid reader, collector of Native
American Art and loved animals.
The funeral will be held on Wednesday, Apr. 19 from the J.HENRI MORIN & SON
FUNERAL HOME, 23 Maple Terr., Spencer with a Mass at 12:30 p.m. in Our Lady
of the Rosary Church, 7 Church St., Spencer. Calling hours are Tuesday, Apr.
18 from 5 to 7p.m.
