Angela Cores, 24, of Acushnet died April 16, 2006 at Rhode Island Hospital due to injuries sustained in an automobile accident.
Born in New Bedford, the daughter of Eduardo and Teresa (Vidal) Cores of Acushnet, she lived in Acushnet most of her life.
She was a communicant of Our Lady of Guadalupe Parish at St. James Church.
Angela was employed by Better Community Living and Hannoush Jewelers in Taunton.
She was a graduate of New Bedford High School, class of 2000, attended the University of Massachusetts at Dartmouth and was to graduate this May from Bristol Community College.
Angela enjoyed travel especially to Spain to visit family.
Survivors include her parents; 2 sisters, Mandy Abouchanab, and her husband Bisher, of New Bedford and Maria Correia of Acushnet; a brother, Eduardo Cores, Jr. of Portugal, 2 nieces, Nadia Abouchanab and Ciara Correia and a nephew, Adel Abouchanab.
Funeral from the Saunders-Dwyer Home for Funerals, 495 Park St., New Bedford Wednesday, April 19th at 9 AM. Funeral Mass at Our Lady of Guadalupe Parish at St. James Church at 10 AM. Relatives and friends are invited to attend.
Visiting hours Tuesday, April 18th from 6-9 PM.
Interment Pine Grove Cemetery.
