Desiree M Iacobucci passed away on November 6, 2021. She was 33 years old.
A graduate of Methuen High School class of 2006, her life began in Somerville, MA and at the age of 12 she and family moved to Methuen. At an early age she developed a passion and talent for competitive cheerleading which she stayed active in from grammar school thru her senior year of high school. Throughout her life wherever she went she made many cherished friendships along the way.
In her adult life she enjoyed singing karaoke with her papa, shopping with her mom, gardening and decorating her home (she had a true knack for it). She also truly enjoyed spending quality time with her beloved boyfriend Paul in their home together with their dog, Maisie and cat Felix. She was ever so proud of being a Godmother to her godchildren Kymani and Jason, who brought her so much joy. Above all her greatest passion was spending time and making long lasting memories with her family and friends. She was a beautiful soul who touched the lives of everyone who loved and knew her.
Desiree was the loving daughter of Marisa Iacobucci, Rocco Iacobucci and Edward Malatesta. She was the beloved girlfriend of Paul Peters. Desiree was the cherished granddaughter of Arthur Speranza and his late wife Marie, and the late Marilyn and Richard Malatesta. She was the dear sister of Matthew and Anthony Iacobucci. She is also survived by aunts, uncles, cousins and friends.
A Mass of Christian Burial celebrating Desiree’s life will be held at Sacred Hearts Church, 297 Main Street, Malden on Saturday November 20th at 10:00am. Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend. Visiting hours will be held at the A. J. Spadafora Funeral Home, 865 Main Street, Malden on Friday November 19th from 4-7pm.
Interment will be private
