John Timothy Sullivan of South Boston, formerly of Andover, Massachusetts, died at his home on April 10, 2006. He was 64 years old.
Born in Andover, Massachusetts, he was a beloved son of the late John M. and Mary (Daley) Sullivan. Mr. Sullivan was a long time councilor at the Pine Street Inn in Boston. He was also a Vietnam Army veteran, enlisting on May 28, 1958 in Boston, Massachusetts and being honorably discharged from Fort Hamilton, New York on March 18, 1962. During his military career, Mr. Sullivan attained the rank of Private 1st class.
Mr. Sullivan will be sorely missed by his three loving children, Shawn and his wife Krista Sullivan of East Walpole, Paula Sullivan of Worcester and Sheila and her husband David Perry of Tennessee; one brother, Daniel Sullivan of South Boston; one sister Shannon Sullivan of Lawrence; one niece, Kim Baird of Lawrence and nine grandchildren.
His funeral was celebrated in the Burke-Magliozzi Funeral Home, 390 North Main Street, Andover, Tuesday evening, April 18, 2006 at 8 PM. Many relatives and friends attended. Calling hours were held Tuesday, April 18, 2006, prior to the service, from 4 to 7:30 PM. Burial will be private.
