Obituary

Heaven received an awesome Angel, Saturday, November 6, 2021, Evalyn Clendenen passed away after an extended illness.
She was the daughter of Omery and Cora Couch. She lived in Anderson before moving to Pendleton. After the death of her husband in 2004, she moved to Frankton.
Evalyn previously worked at Emge Packing Company and the Anderson Post Office. After she retired, she began sewing. She was an accomplished seamstress.
Evalyn married Ralph Clendenen on December 22, 1951, they had four children.
Evalyn is survived by her children, Tana (David) Granger, Mark Clendenen and Dawn Robinson; eleven grandchildren, Bryan, Jeff, Greg (Lori) Granger, Charity (Mike) Moore, Shannon (Jason) Jarvis, Erik (Jana) Clendenen, Ashlee (Kyle) Augustinovicz, Stephanie (Mark) Miller, April Adams, Chris (Sandi) Hunt and Cory Rusher; 16 great-grandchildren; three great-great grandchildren; her brother, Wayne (Mary Ann) Couch; brother-in-law, Dick Hughes and sister-in-law, Clara Couch.
She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Ralph Clendenen; her daughter, Mikel Rusher; her brothers, Kyle, Gene, Jim, Chuck and Bill Couch; and her sisters, Ruby Hill, Ruth Ferguson, Edna Hughes and Barbara Humbert.
Funeral service will be 11:00 a.m. on Thursday, November 11, 2021 at Rozelle-Johnson Funeral Service with Rev. Carol Whetsel Alvernaz officiating. Burial will be in Anderson Memorial Park Cemetery.
Visitation will be from 4:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. on Wednesday, November 10, at the funeral home.
Memorial contributions may be given to Madison County Humane Society.
