Ethan Michael Denmark, of Jacksonville, Florida, formerly of Andover passed away unexpectedly on November 1, 2021, at his home. He was 27 years old.
He was born in Winchester, Massachusetts and grew up in Andover, attended Northern Essex Community College and enlisted in the US Navy.
After receiving his honorable discharge, Ethan remained living in Jacksonville, Florida, where he worked as a Security Guard. Ethan's desire to help others and serve his community led him to pursue a career as a Police Officer. He earned high marks at the police academy and successfully passed the Florida state police exam. He was in the process of applying to the Jacksonville Beach Police Agency, where he had many supportive friends and mentors.
Ethan enjoyed time with his family and friends, hiking, biking along the beach, snowboarding and numerous other outdoor activities. He was extremely caring and was the first to help anyone in need. We will always remember his smile, sense of humor and ability to make us laugh. He will be greatly missed by his family and friends.
Ethan is survived by his loving mother: Cheryl Denmark of North Andover, sister; Deanna and her husband Kincaid Merrill of Rutland, Vermont, grandfather; Alan Kaitz of Bedford, aunt and uncle; Janet and her husband Larry Cowan of North Andover and Steve and his wife Debborah Kaitz of Concord, New Hampshire, cousins; Sara, Michael, Stefanie, Jenesse, Danielle, Carissa and Sean. He was also the son of the late Howard Evan Denmark and grandson of the late Marlene Kaitz and Margaret Duncan.
His Funeral Service will be celebrated in the Burke-Magliozzi Funeral Home, 390 North Main Street, Andover on Wednesday, November 10, 2021, at 10 AM. Relatives and friends are most welcome to attend. Interment will be held in the Spring Grove Cemetery in Andover. Visitation will be held in the Clubhouse at 200 Chickering Road, North Andover on Wednesday evening, November 10, 2021, from 6 to 8 PM.
