Obituary

Bruce C. Beaman (81) of Center Ossipee, NH, formerly of East Bridgewater, MA died peacefully on Tuesday, November 2,2021 following brief health complications.

Bruce was born in Pittsfield, MA on July 10,1940 to the late Paul and Janet Beaman.

After serving four years in the United States Air Force, he embarked on a 36 1/2-year career as a field engineer for IBM Boston.

Bruce and Barbara raised their family in East Bridgewater, MA before enjoying his retirement in Center Ossipee, NH for the last 20 years. Bruce was an avid ham radio operator, K1HTN, for over 60 years and a former member of the Whitman Amateur Radio Club, along with several other clubs.

Bruce is survived by his wife of 58 years, Barbara A (White) Beaman. Devoted father to Kimberly and her husband Michael Keating of Keene, NH, Deborah and her husband Derrick Wood of Mooresville, NC, and Donna Cebula of Hopedale, MA. Proud Papa of Meghan, Kyle and Kelsey Keating, Taylor (Britney), Hayden, Emily and Carson Wood, Sara Lynne and Adam Cebula. Also survived by his brother Paul (Ruth) Beaman of Fort Myers, FL and sister Beverly (John) Bartley of Pittsfield, MA. Uncle to Sherry (Joel) Zufelt, Michael Beaman, Timothy (Kait) Bartley and Kellie Bartley. Bruce loved and was loved by many.

Family and friends are invited to attend his visiting hours on Tuesday November 9 from 5:00-8:00PM in the Blanchard Funeral Chapel, Plymouth Street (Rte. 58 @ the rotary) Whitman and his funeral service on Wednesday November 10 at 10:00AM in the Union Congregational Church, East Bridgewater. Burial will follow at 1:00 PM in the Massachusetts National Cemetery, Bourne.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in his name to Union Congregational Church Memorial Fund - 105 Pleasant Street, East Bridgewater, MA 02333
