Fall River – Maria Joaquina (da Silva) DeOliveira, age 83, of New Bedford, passed away on Saturday, October 30, 2021 at Charlton Memorial Hospital. She was the beloved wife of the late Severino DeOliveira.
Maria was born in Matosinhos, Portugal to the late Joaquim da Silva and Alice da Silva. She had been a loving and devoted homemaker to her family throughout the years.
Maria is survived by her children, Isabel Soares, Severino DeOliveira Jr. and Christina Evans; 7 grandchildren and 3 great-grandchildren.
Her visiting hours and funeral service will be held at Perry Funeral Home on Friday, November 5, 2021. Visiting hours will be held from 10:00 A.M. – 12:00 P.M. with a service to take place at 12:00 P.M. Burial will immediately follow in Rural Cemetery.
