Mrs. Maria F. (Pereira) Cusick, of Townsend, formerly of Medford and beloved wife of the late William W. Cusick, passed away at her home on Monday morning, November 1, 2021. She was 83 years old.
Born in St. Michael, Portugal, she was the beloved daughter of the late Joao Batista Dias Pereira and Carlota do Carmo (Cordeiro) Pereira. Mrs. Cusick held many different jobs, but was alway's a mom. In her spare time, Maria enjoyed crocheting, knitting and gardening around her home. She also loved to dance. swim and travel as well as play Marjourn. Maria had been a communicant of St. James Church in Medford and more recently of St. Joseph Church in Medford. She will be dearly missed.
Maria is survived by her loving children; Kevin J. and his wife Karen M. Cusick of Townsend, Cary W. and his wife Melissa A. Cusick of Derry, New Hampshire and Chris A. Cusick of Malden, brother; Rufino Pereira of the Azores and grandchildren; Austin, Brett, Jake, Brooke, Hayden, Sophia and Brody.
