WELLS, ME – Arthur P. Nawrocki, 66, formerly of Dudley and Sutton, passed away Saturday, October 23, 2021 in Wells.
He leaves his loving wife of 41 years, Diane (Ostrowski) Nawrocki; his 2 devoted children, Danielle of Worcester and Alexander of Los Angeles; his 4 brothers, Carl of Salem, CT, Peter of Dudley, MA, and John and Stephen of Webster, MA; and several in-laws, nephews, nieces and friends.
He was born on August 10, 1955 in Webster and raised in Dudley, the son of Walter and Anastasia (Pikora) Nawrocki. He graduated from Bartlett High School and then earned a Bachelor Degree in Labor Relations from the University of Massachusetts in Amherst. He lived in Sutton for 31 years before moving to Wells after he retired.
Mr. Nawrocki was employed as an IT manager in the Worcester area at various companies including Allmerica Financial (now Hanover Insurance), Fallon Health and Blue Cod and also at CVS in Rhode Island.
Family defined his life. He grew up in a large extended family of aunts, uncles and cousins. As a husband and father, he hosted many celebratory gatherings at his home in Sutton where he lived for 31 years. Christmastime was everyone’s favorite. He will be remembered for his demeanor, sense of humor, genuineness and compassion by those who knew and loved him.
Art loved animals, especially dogs and cats. He enjoyed the Maine coast, traveling and cheering the Red Sox and Patriots.
A celebration of his life will be held on Sunday, November 14, at 2:00 PM in the Sitkowski, Malboeuf & Hickey Funeral Home, 340 School Street, Webster MA. Visitation will be held from noon to 2:00 PM that day in the funeral home. The family has asked that, instead of flowers, donations in his name be made to either the American Heart Association, 300 5th Avenue, Waltham, MA 02451 or to Habitat for Humanity York County Restore, 4 Industrial Drive, Kennebunk, ME 04043.
