New Bedford – Ronald G. Correia, age 80, of Dartmouth, passed away on Thursday, October 21, 2021, at St. Luke’s Hospital. He was the beloved husband of the late Geraldine (Tavares) Correia.
Ronald was born in New Bedford, MA to the late Joseph G. Correia and Bertha (Rose) Correia. He had been a veteran of the United States Air Force and later went on to work as a Police Officer for the Town of Dartmouth.
Ronald is survived by his daughters, Karen Souza and her husband Kevin and Kim Correia; grandchildren, Ariana Souza, Aiden Souza, Ashton Souza and Jared Fritze.
He was also the father of the late Gary Ronald Correia and the brother of the late Jeff Correia.
Ronald’s visiting hours and service will be held on Thursday, November 4, 2021 at Perry Funeral Home. Visiting hours will be held from 9:00 A.M. – 11:30 A.M. with a service to take place at 11:30 A.M. Burial will immediately follow in Rural Cemetery.
