Rita M. Russo (DeBiase) of Andover formerly of Medford passed away on October 21, 2021. She was 89 years old. Rita was the beloved wife of the late Lawrence J. Russo. Born in Medford, she was the cherished daughter of the late Enrico and Concettina (Brigandi) DeBiase.
Rita was always known as a sociable and loving woman. She enjoyed playing cards with her friends on a regular basis.
Rita was the devoted mother of Larry J. Russo Jr. and his wife Lisa of West Harwich, Peter Russo and his wife Jeanne of Andover and Paula Colligan and her husband Bill of Lexington, South Carolina. She was the adored grandmother of Danny Colligan and his wife Crystal, Jeffrey Colligan and his wife Meg, Eric Russo and his wife Stephanie, Thomas Lamson and his wife Amy and the late Michael Doucette and the loving great-grandmother of Gabriella and Bella. Rita was the dear sister of the late Joseph DeBiase, Mary Melaragni and Eleanor Zucchi. She is also survived by several loving nieces, nephews and cousins.
Rita’s funeral will be from the Dello Russo Funeral Home 306 Main St. Medford on, Friday, October 29, at 10AM, followed by a funeral Mass in St. Raphael Church, 512 High Street, Medford, at 11AM. Relatives and friends are cordially invited to attend. Visiting hours will be held on Thursday from 4-8PM.
