Donat Belanger, 75, of Manchester, died April 14, 2006, at the Merrimack Hospice House, after a lengthy illness.
He was born September 25, 1930 in St. Gerard, P.Q., Canada, and was the son of Joseph and Alice (Metivier) Belanger. He had been a Manchester resident since 1967.
Mr. Belanger worked as a stonecutter for Berito Granite Co. for many years.
He was a member of St. Marie Church where he also worked for several years.
Family members include his wife of 53 years, Marie M. (Tanguay) Belanger of Manchester; a son, Tommy Belanger, and his wife Lynda, of Hooksett; two grandchildren, Carl Belanger and Matthew Belanger both of Hooksett; a sister, Laureanne Lemay of Montreal, Quebec; a brother, Leo Belanger, and his wife Raymonde, of Epsom; nieces and nephews.
A Mass of Christian burial was celebrated Monday April 17, 2006 at St. Marie Church, 378 Notre Dame Ave., Manchester. Encryptment followed in Mount Calvary Mausoleum.
