Fall River – Richard Joseph Carrington, 72, of New Bedford, passed away on Monday, October 18, 2021, at Charlton Memorial Hospital.
Richard was born in the early Summer of 1949 in Brookline, Massachusetts to Paul and Irma Carrington. He was the 2nd youngest of 6 children in the household. He enjoyed long bike rides and maintaining his cars on sunny afternoons. He was married to Lynette Busby.
He is survived by 3 brothers, Raymond, Charles and Robert and a sister, Harriet. He also leaves behind 2 children, Antoinette and Leon; 9 grandchildren and 4 great-grandchildren.
He brought countless days of joy to those around him and will be missed dearly.
Richard’s funeral arrangements were private.
