Mercedes Rodriguez was a caring mother, grandmother, great grandmother, great great grandmother, sister, and friend. She left this world peacefully on October 17, 2021 at age 86.
She was born to Melida Polanco and Fransisco Rodriguez on November 29, 1934. Migrated to the United States on December 3, 1957 with her daughter Lourdes and became a seamstress in Boston Massachusetts, an occupation that lasted most of her life.
Mercedes loved spending time in the kitchen, creating delicious meals for her family, friends, and her children’s friends. She was devoted to her church where she was well loved and made many friends.
Mercedes is survived by her children, Lourdes Pimentel, Jose Aponte, Roberto Terrones, Maria Terrones, and Henry Terrones. She is also survived by 10 grandchildren, 9 great grandchildren and one great great grandchild.
A wake service is scheduled on Wednesday, October 20th, 2021 from 5pm to 7pm at the Brady and Fallon Funeral Home located at 10 Tower Street, Jamaica Plain, MA. In lieu of flowers, please donate to the Alzheimer's Association, www.alz.org.
