Ruth E. (Miller) Stolle,94, a long- time resident of Broad Brook, CT. and more recently of Charlton, MA. died peacefully on October 16, 2021.
She was born in Vernon, Ct., August 8, 1927 the daughter of Edward C. and Gisela T. (Schaefer) Miller
She was predeceased by her beloved husband Fred H. Stolle, Jr., and also by two sisters, twin sister Roma Schlichting and husband William of Somers, CT., and Carol A. Brodeur of South Windsor, CT.
Ruth is survived by her daughter Roxanne R. Simpson and her husband Jim of Brimfield, MA. and grandchildren Marissa Seifert and her husband Matt, James Simpson and his fiancé Alison Mishou and a great granddaughter Avery.
She is also survived by her son Wayne T. Stolle and his wife Anita of Medway, MA; grandchildren Kristen Stolle, Jonathan Stolle and his wife Shannon, Laura Adoff and her husband Steven and great grandchildren, Gavin, Harper, Maxwell and Arianna.
At her request, private arrangements will be at the convenience of the family, interment will be at the Connecticut Veterans Cemetery in Middletown, CT. next to her husband Fred.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Ruth’s memory to a charity of one’s choice.
The ROBERT J. MILLER-CHARLTON FUNERL HOME, 175 Old Worcester Rd. has been entrusted with Ruth’s funeral arrangements.
