WEBSTER – Kenneth H. Jacobson, 79, died Saturday, October 16, 2021 in Southbridge Rehabilitation Health Care after an illness.
He leaves 2 daughters, Karen D. Masters and her husband Glenn of Gaston, SC and Eileen D. Gratton and her husband Norman of Brookfield; 2 sons, Keith G. Jacobson of Oxford and Kyle L. Jacobson and his wife Nicole of Eastford, CT; 6 grandchildren; a great-granddaughter; a sister, Edith Brooks and her husband Robert of Shrewsbury; nephews and nieces; and many friends and acquaintances. His brother Clifford predeceased him.
He was born on January 1, 1942 in Worcester, the son of Everett and Eileen (Peters) Jacobson. He grew up in Paxton and lived in Sturbridge for many years before moving here in the early 1990‘s.
Mr. Jacobson worked as a machine operator at the American Optical Company in Southbridge for 27 years and was a member of its Quarter Century Club.
Services will be held privately at the convenience of the family. There are no calling hours. Arrangements are under the direction of Scanlon Funeral Service, 38 East Main Street.
