Obituary


Fitzsimmons, Leo V III, 42, of Jamaica plain formerly of South Boston Massachusetts, entered eternity on October 15, 2021.

Beloved Son of Joanne Fitzsimmons and the late Leo V Fitzsimons II. Dear brother of Joseph Fitzsimmons and fiancé Mia Deandrade. Lovingly survived by his niece and nephew Olivia Ryan and Matthew Thomas. Cherished fiancé of Heidi Seekins and their shared cat Mr. Vix. Grandson of Patricia Fitzsimmons of South Boston, Leo V. Fitzsimmons and wife Anne Fitzsimmons of Middleboro. Preceded in death by grandmother Carolyn M. (Walsh) Spellman and grandfather George A. Walsh. Leo leaves behind many aunts, uncles, cousins, and friends.

Leo was Born and raised in South Boston and was educated in the Boston Public School system. He was a proud member of the Carpenters Union, Local 327. Leo was a passionate reader who enjoyed a good book especially if it contained an adventurous plot. He was intrigued by history and was always eager to continuously expand his knowledge. Leo was an enthusiastic sports fan with baseball being his favorite. His love for baseball influenced his hobby of collecting memorabilia. He also enjoyed fishing, hiking in the blue hills and rollerblading in his spare time.

Visiting Hours will be held at Casper Funeral Home located at 187 Dorchester Street in South Boston on Friday, October 22nd, 2021 from 4-8PM. Funeral Mass will be held at St. Peters in South Boston on Saturday, October 23rd at 9 AM. Interment services will be private.
