Obituary

AUBURN___Christopher M. Norwood, 43, of Auburn, passed away unexpectedly in his home on Monday, October 11, 2021.

Christopher is survived by his loving parents, George and Cynthia of Auburn; and four loving siblings; Jeffrey and his partner, Francisco, of Leicester; David and his wife, Kristin, of Auburn; Michael of Worcester; and Lauren and her partner, Tyler, of Worcester. He leaves behind three nephews; Keegan, Nathan, and Nolan; along with his aunt, uncles, cousins, and friends.

Chris was born on November 11, 1977 in Worcester to Cynthia M. (Miloski) and George A. Norwood, Jr. He graduated from Auburn High School in 1995.

Chris loved his family immensely, sending his congratulations in times of joy, his support in times of need, and never forgetting a birthday or holiday. He was always kind, fair, and honest.

Chris was an avid WWE fan, having attended dozens of live events with his siblings over the years. He also enjoyed video games, candlepin bowling, movies, and television, and had a knack for weaving childhood nostalgia into conversations.

Chris worked as a newspaper distributor for the Telegram & Gazette for over 10 years. In addition, he worked for many years at Skylite Roller Skating Center in Worcester, where many friendships and memories were made. Others may remember him from his time at Thunderbird Bowl in Auburn, as well.

Relatives and friends are cordially invited to call on Tuesday, October 19th at Dirsa-Morin Funeral Home, 298 Grafton St. Worcester, from 6:00pm to 7:00pm.

A private funeral and burial service will take place the following day at Notre Dame Cemetery in Worcester.
