In Somerset, Anne Marie Lopes, age 82, passed away unexpectedly in her home on October 13, 2021. Anne was born in Taunton, the daughter of the late Leo & Alice (Thomas) Cardin. She was the former spouse of William Lopes.
Anne had resided in Somerset and was formerly of East Taunton and Berkley. She attended Taunton schools and was a graduate of Taunton High School. Anne enjoyed going to crafts shows, embroidering, loved her grand cats and above all was a loving and devoted mother and grandmother who cherished her time with her daughters, grand’s, sisters and brothers and friend and family. Anne was known to have a great love of three hours phone calls.
Anne is survived by her beloved children; Kathi Geronimo of TN, Susan Parmer and husband James of Arizona and Sandy Lopes of Fall River, her grandchildren; Wesley, William and Katie Walker and Stephen Lema, her siblings; Leo Cardin of ME, William Cardin of Taunton, Barbara Devlin of East Taunton and her late siblings; Beatrice, Johnny, Jayne, Peter, Edward, Jeffrey, Tommy and Yvonne. Funeral services are private at the request of the family arrangements are under the care of the O’Keefe-Wade Funeral Home in Taunton, MA.
