In Taunton, Charles Caras Jr., Age 76, passed away unexpectedly in Morton Hospital on October 11, 2021 after becoming ill at Wedgemere Nursing Home. Charles was born in Taunton, the son of the late Charles G. Caras Sr. and Diamantina (Raposa) Caras.
Charles attended Taunton schools and was a graduate of Taunton High School. He had resided in Taunton most of his life. Charles was employed as a security officer for the former Reed & Barton Company and also as a chef for several local restaurants. He enjoyed collecting coins and stamps, loved all animals and his family.
Charles is survived by his son, Charles Caras III and his wife Samantha (Simpson) of Taunton. He also leaves his sister Mary (Caras) Doman of Taunton. Funeral services are private at the request of the family.
