Iris Mallard Ray, 59, of Tifton passed away Wednesday, October 13, 2021, at her residence. Her funeral service will be held at 3:00 p.m. Saturday, October 16, 2021, in the Chapel of Bowen-Donaldson Home for Funerals with the Rev. Kenny Kicklighter officiating. Ms. Ray will be laid to rest at Oak Ridge Cemetery. The family will receive friends on Saturday, October 16, 2021, in the Chapel of Bowen-Donaldson Home for Funerals from 2:00 p.m. until the hour of the service.
Ms. Ray’s friends and family will serve as pallbearers.
Born February 1, 1962, in Tifton, Ms. Ray was the daughter of the late Jack Mallard and Joyce Collier Hayes. Before retiring, she worked as a waitress. She loved her children and her grandchildren. She loved watching wrestling and Days of Our Lives and loved collecting Native American items. She also loved planting flowers.
Ms. Ray is survived by two sons and one daughter-in-law, Skylar and Brooke Ray of Berrien County and Patrick Delbridge III of Tifton; four daughters and two sons-in-law, Jade Skipper of Enigma, Candace Turner Sutton and Joe Sutton of Valdosta and Stephanie and Sonny Lasseter of Ray City and Hope Delbridge of Tifton; three sisters, Patricia McMillan and Jan Hall, both of Tifton and Rhonda Whiddon of Florida; and fifteen grandchildren, Zane Scarbor, Monica Wood, Abigail Daniels, Lulu Daniels, Carmen Daniels, Cameron Turner, Camden Phillips, Carlei Turner, Isabella Garcia, Jensen McCracken, Journee McCracken, Patrick Delbridge IV, Robert Maddox, Caden Maddox and Kaloeb Ritter.
