Grandfather of James Egersheim Jr. and his wife Lori of Amherst, NH, Lisa Brown and her husband Stephen of Quincy and Kasey Lee Maher of Hookset, NH. Great-grandfather of Michelle Ashcroft and her husband Jordan, Cassandra, Samantha, and Benjamin Brown, and James III and Jared Egersheim. Also survived by his sister-in-law Margaret McLean and many nieces and nephews.
Former Chief Schedule Maker for the MBTA, Boston. WWII U.S. Army Veteran, member of the National Guard, and lifelong member of the VFW.
Visiting hours at the George F. Doherty & Sons Wilson-Cannon Funeral Home, 456 High St., Dedham on Monday, Oct. 18 from 9:00-10:45am followed by a funeral service in the funeral home at 11:00am. Relatives and friends kindly invited. Interment in Knollwood Memorial Park, Canton.
