Leo J. Silipigno, 98, of Hyde Park passed away Monday, October 11th, at the age of 98.. Loving son of the late John and Jennie (Molonia) Silipigno. Devoted brother of the late Pauline Schepis, Stephen Silipigno, Frank Silipigno, Joseph Silipigno, Jennie Lepere, Lillian Hayes and Anthony J. Silipigno. Loving uncle to numerous nieces and nephews. Leo was a great and kind hearted person with a good sense of humor, who always put family first. Leo worked for many years at Stride Rite Shoe. When he retired he dedicated himself to caring for family members. A US army veteran Leo served with honor in the Philippines during WWII. Relatives and friends are invited to attend a visiting hour from 10-11 AM on Friday October 15, 2021 followed by a Funeral Service at 11 AM at the Joseph Russo Funeral home 814 American Legion Hwy. Roslindale. Interment with military honors will be in St. Michael Cemetery, Roslindale.
A dedicated son and brother who did a great job, Leo will be missed.
