Henry J. Evans, Jr. (Harry) passed away peacefully on October 12, 2021 at the age of 88 after a long illness.
He was a proud USAF Veteran and Staff Sargent during the Korean War. He worked for the United States Postal Service for over 35 years.
Harry was predeceased by his wife of 54 years Patricia Prendergast Evans, son Brian Evans, daughter Patricia Evans Murphy and companion Dorothy Ruzzo of Medfield.
He is survived by his daughters, Lori Holman and husband James of Halifax, Cathy Marcioni and husband Steve of Raleigh, NC, Suzanne Campbell and husband Stephen of Halifax, his sons, Stephen Evans and wife Penny of Plymouth, Greg Evans of Weymouth and Glen Evans and husband Brian Brostek of Nashville, TN, seven grandchildren and four great-grandchildren. He also leaves two sisters, Mary Burns of Stoughton and Catherine Evans (Kay) of Bridgewater who he had the pleasure of residing with for the last 3 months of his life.
Harry was a proud father and grateful for his family and his extended Ruzzo family, the Callahans, Deadys and Lafollas of Medfield.
