Vivian Elaine (Robert) Holt, 72, of 112 Whitehall Ave., Mystic, passed away Thursday at Lawrence & Memorial Hospital.
Vivian was born in Mystic on February 17, 1934 the daughter of Wilfred Robert Sr. and Edith Mae (Bloeser) Robert. Raised in Mystic, she was a graduate of Stonington High School.
She served as Vice-President & Secretary of Holt Bros. Sanitation Company, working alongside her husband for several years.
Known for her sense of humor, she will also be remembered for being a prankster. She enjoyed puzzles, playing Pitch, cooking, and served as the family geneologist. She was also an avid coin collector.
She is survived by her husband, Robert Holt; her children, Vickie LaFrance and her husband Tom of Mystic; Joseph Holt and his wife Lori of Mystic, and Barbara Campagna and her husband Joseph Jr. of Ashaway, RI; her siblings, Eugene Roberts of Stonington, Harriet Rathbun, Joyce Wright, and Ronald Robert, all of Florida, Cynthia Spencer of Saybrook, and Wilfred Robert Jr. of No. Stonington; her grandchildren, Eddie & Ryan Coats, Joey & Lisa Campagna; her longtime friends, Felice & Phyllis Nigrelli; several nieces and nephews.
She was predeceased by two sons, Robert Holt Jr. and Eddie Duerr III, a grandson, Nicholas Campagna and two sisters.
Her family will greet relatives and friends at The Dinoto Funeral Home, 17 Pearl Street, Historic downtown Mystic on Monday from 6-8pm. Her funeral service will be conducted at the funeral home on Tuesday at 10am. Burial will follow at Elm Grove Cemetery.
