Baierlein, George M. of Needham, passed away peacefully on October 5, 2021 at the age of 86. Devoted husband of the late Carolyn Baierlein. Loving father to Karen Mueller and her husband David of Norwood, Karl Baierlein of Needham, Heidi Moriarty and her husband John of Quincy, Kristin Hope and her husband Joe of Walpole.
Proud Opa to Katharine, Gretchen, Connor, Jack, Bryan and Hannah. Retired Commander United States Navy. Former member of the Board of Trustees of the Boylston Schul-Verein and German Aid Society.
Funeral from the George F. Doherty & Sons Funeral Home, 1305 Highland Ave. Needham, Tuesday, October 12, at 10am followed by a Funeral Mass in St. Joseph Church, Needham at 11am. Relatives and friends kindly invited. Visiting hours on Monday from 4-7pm. Interment in Massachusetts National Cemetery, Bourne on Tuesday, Oct. 12 at 1:45pm.
