Elizabeth Anna Lou “Annie” Summey, 87, passed away October 6, 2021 in Plainfield, Indiana at the home of her daughter. She was born on September 18, 1934 in Dupont, Indiana the daughter of Lillie Melinda (Covington) and Harry Keen Leach.
She was employed by RCA for 17 years, retiring in 1992. Annie enjoyed reading, crosswords and shopping.
She is survived by her children; Debbie and Tim Cunningham of Anderson, Ed and Peggy Padgett of Bacoton, Georgia and Penny Havens of Plainfield; nine grandchildren, and 12 great grandchildren; special friends, Dee Lynch, Leslie Wilkins, and Carol Newkirk.
Annie was preceded in death by her husband of 30 years, Charles Summey Jr; brothers; Buford Leach, Boyd Leach, Wilford Leach, Robert Leach, Roy Leach.
Funeral services will be held on Saturday, October 9, 2021 at 3:00 PM at Rozelle-Johnson Funeral Service , officiated by Tim Cunningham. Visitation with the family will be held 2 hours prior to the funeral on Saturday.
Burial will take place at Noon on Monday, October 11, 2021 at Shiloh Cemetery in Tusculum, Tennessee.
The family suggests memorial contributions be made to the donor’s choice of charity.
