Joyce Ann Scardino of Stoughton, Massachusetts passed away on October 5,2021, after a lengthy battle with Breast Cancer.
Joyce was an elementary school teacher for over 40 years. She taught at Thatcher Montessori School in Milton for many years, and prior to her retirement she taught at the Wilkins School in Stoughton. When not teaching, Joyce was an active member of St. Mary’s Church in Randolph, Massachusetts where she taught religious education. She also volunteered at the Ahavath Torah Temple in Stoughton. She was an avid baker of breads and breakfast pastries, which were enjoyed by many friends, family, and acquaintances. Joyce enjoyed attending her son’s and daughter’s college hockey games and socializing with their parents after the games. In addition, she loved watching Patriots and Bruins games as well as attending BU hockey games with her family.
Joyce is survived by her loving husband Joe, her son Joseph III and his wife Lindsay. Grandchildren Rosalie and Joseph IV and daughter Sarah and her boyfriend Ryan.
Viewing hours are being held at St Mary’s Church located at 211 N. Main Street, Randolph, Massachusetts on Sunday evening October 10th from 5pm to 7pm. Followed by a Funeral Mass on Monday morning October 11th at 10am also at St. Mary’s Church in Randolph, Massachusetts.
