Eulogy by Edith

I would like to start by thanking everyone that is here today. My name is Edith, I am Aunties niece. Auntie did not have children of her own, so we her nieces and nephews were her children. She had an endles love for her family.

We weren’t her only loved ones though. Auntie had a strong connection with her animals she loved and cared for over the years, especially her Corrie who she is with right now. Auntie found so much pride as an independent woman and work ethics.

She was an exceptional woman that always cared for others and at times to a fault. If someone she loved was hurting, so was Auntie. Nonetheless, it was always a treat to have our daily talks. I will never forget her laugh and loving carefree spirit. She was always so proud when she answered the cell phone without hanging up on me first.

She taught me so much in life and I attribute the woman I am today to Auntie. Because of her I was brave enough to stand up for myself in difficult situations, be proud of my independence as a mother, woman and wife. She helped me to become a fun-¬-loving aunt to my own 19 nieces and nephews.

I know that many of you may be upset that auntie was taken from us so very young. I would like to ask you to give forgiveness and celebrate Aunties life today.

Until Auntie's passing, I never knew a day without unconditional love. She was my role model, a caring, supportive mom to me in so many ways. She was one of my best friends. I will deeply miss her every day for the rest of my life. Let us all remember the way that she touched our lives.
Auntie, I truly cherish every moment I was able to spend with you. I know that you are at peace now.

I love you now and forever!
