Anna Francis (Kelly) Shea of West Roxbury, MA passed from this life Sunday Oct. 03, 2021, at the age of 88.
Born on April 23, 1933, in Boston, MA. Anna was the daughter of John and Annie (Conroy)Kelly, both from Ireland. Sister to John and his wife Jean, James Kelly, and his late wife Marianne and to her dear late identical twin sister Mary B. Clifford.
Anna was the loving wife to the late John J. Shea. Anna devoted her life to her family and was the proud and loving mother to her seven boys, Jack of West Roxbury, Jim and his wife Cathy of Canton, Dan and his wife Karen of Yarmouth, Chris and his wife Laura of Frederick, MD and Matthew and his wife Katie of West Roxbury and to the late Timothy (Ted) and Robert Shea. Anna is also survived by Rob's devoted wife Patricia.
A cherished Nana to Tricia, Kelly, Colleen, John, Christopher, Michael, Gavin, and Conor Shea, and to the late PJ McMullen. A loving Aunt to Erin (Clifford) Murphy and her husband Brendan (Busty), Linda (Kelly) Kaluza and husband Fred, Jim Kelly, and the late Mary (Clifford)McGrath, and Brian Kelly. A loving Grand-Auntie to Matthew and Bridget McGrath, and to Patrick and Tim Chace. A Great-Grand Aunt to Logan McGrath.
Family was the joy of Anna’s life, and her laughter and love will be with us always.
Funeral from the William J. Gormley Funeral Home, 2055 Centre St., West Roxbury on Friday, October 8, 2021 at 9:00 a.m. followed by a Mass of Christian Burial in St. Theresa of Avila Church at 10 o’clock. Relatives and friends are kindly invited to attend. Visiting hours Thursday, October 7, 2021 from 4:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. Private interment will be held at St. Joseph Cemetery at a later date. Contributions in Anna’s memory may be made to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital at stjude.org
