BUCELWICZ, Edna F. (McCarthy) 93, Of Needham, formerly from Brighton, passed away on October 1, 2021 . Beloved wife of the late Paul F. Bucelwicz. Daughter of the late Bartholomew and Emily (Haviland) McCarthy. Sister of the late Joseph McCarthy and Joan, Alice and John Carey.
Loving mother of Robert and wife Brenda, and Thomas and partner Peter Doebele of New York City. Cherished grandmother of Paul M. and Vicky of Waltham. Survived by many beloved nieces and nephews.
Edna experienced a debilitating medical condition that left her partially paralyzed while in her early forties. With great determination she lead a fulfilling life as loving wife, mother, grandmother and cherished friend to her many relatives and friends.
She was an avid knitter who donated many beautiful clothing items to friends and charities.
Visiting hours at the George F. Doherty & Sons Funeral Home 1305 Highland Ave. Needham on Thursday, October 7th from 4-7pm during which a prayer service will be held at 6:45pm. Interment will be private. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to a charity of your choice.
