HOGAN, Catherine M. (Mellon) of Dennis, formerly of Jamaica Plain and Medway passed away peacefully at home surrounded by her family on October 1, 2021. Beloved wife of James R. Hogan, Jr. Loving mother of Melinda Emery and her husband Martyn of Yarmouth Port, Lindsey Hogan and Jonathan Allen of Westwood. Sister of David Mellon and his wife Katie of Plymouth, Agnes Ward and her husband Dr. Frank Ward of Whitehouse, TX, and the late Joseph Mellon. Devoted daughter of the late Joseph and Catherine Mellon. Also survived by many nieces and nephews and her Cape canine companion Penny Rose. Cathy will be remembered for her love of life with family, infectious laughter, and time spent on Bayview Beach. Funeral from the William J. Gormley Funeral Home 2055 Centre Street, WEST ROXBURY on Wednesday, October 6th at 9 a.m. followed by a Funeral Mass in Saint Theresa of Avila Church at 10 o’clock.
