George E. Coward

George E. Coward, age 42 , died unexpectedly at Saints Memorial Medical Center on Tuesday
April 11th. He was the beloved husband of Patricia (Castor) Coward with whom he would have
celebrated his 16th wedding anniversary this June.
George was born in Burlington, Vermont on December 18, 1963. The son of the late
Stanford and Antoinette (Mercandente) Coward. He was raised in Burlington, MA and later
moved to Tewksbury to raise his family. He graduated from Burlington High.
George worked in Burlington at American Food Systems as the maintenance manager. He
was a NASCAR race fan and enjoyed riding his Harley Davidson. He was also known as an
outdoors man and went camping in NH.
Besides his wife he is survived by two sons; Jacob and Joshua Coward of Tewksbury.
Five sisters; Cathy and Paul Maldonis of Burlington, Gail and Charlie Marinaccio of Burlington,
Cindy Tighe of Woburn, Kim and David D’Elia of Woburn, Melanie and Erick Donker of Illinois
and many nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
His funeral was held Saturday, April 15, in the funeral home.
His Memorial Mass was celebrated Monday April 17th in St. William’s Church, Tewksbury. Burial was in St. Mary's Cemetery, No. Tewksbury
