Jacquelen Lea "Jackie" (Devore) Rose, 79, of Anderson died September 28, 2021 at her residence.
Jackie was born November 5, 1941 in Covington, Kentucky, the daughter of Charles Edward and Elizabeth Ann (Neal) DeVore.
She graduated from Withrow High School in 1959.
She was a security officer for a government contracting Company for 15 years before retiring in 2012. She was a member of over 55+ group. She was an avid reader always wanting to help. She loved to paint, dance and loved music. She enjoyed cooking especially baking and decorating cakes. She was a great listener and a member of BEES.
She is survived by her sister, Rev. Jane DeVore of Chesterfield; a sister-in-law, Peggy Shupe of Longmont, Colorado and a nephew, David DeVore of Dayton, Ohio.
She was preceded in death by her parents and 2 brothers, Donald Meade and Paul Edward DeVore.
Memorial service will be held on Friday, October 15, 2021 at Camp Chesterfield Chapel at 3 p.m.
Memorial contributions may be given to American Heart Association or American Cancer Society.
