NORTH OXFORD__ Alfred Waszkiewicz, 69, passed away Tuesday, September 28, 2021 at home surrounded by his loving family.
He is survived by his wife, Anna (Szyszkiewicz) Waszkiewicz; son, Grzegorz Waszkiewicz and his wife Agnieszka of Las Vegas, Nevada; daughter, Ela Mardziel and her husband Pawel of Charlton; sister, Krystyna Rutkowska of Poland; and four grandchildren, Weronika, Aleksander, Milena and Dylan. He was predeceased by his twin brother, Czeslaw Waszkiewicz.
Alfred was born in Czarna Bialostocka, Poland, son of the late Czeslaw and Irena (Czauz) Waszkiewicz. He and his family immigrated to the United States in 1999. He was a recipient of a heart transplant in 2004. Alfred was a man of many talents, interests and endeavors. Most recently he worked as a machinist at Kokos Machine Co.
The Funeral will be held on Monday, October 4, 2021 from HENRY-DIRSA FUNERAL HOME, 33 Ward Street, Worcester with a Funeral Mass at 2:00 PM in Our Lady of Czestochowa Church, 34 Ward Street, Worcester. Calling hours will be held Monday, October 4, 2021 from 12:30 – 1:30 PM in the funeral home. Burial will be held at a later date.
