Fall River – Cidalia C. Costa, age 58, of Fall River, passed away on September 27, 2021 at Massachusetts General Hospital. She was the beloved wife of Daniel Costa of 37 years. Born in Santo António, São Miguel, Açores, she was the daughter of Serafim and Margarida (Carvalho) Arruda. She loved to sew, knit, and cook, but most of all loved to be with her family and friends. She was love and compassion personified to those closest to her and frequently described as one of the kindest people you would ever meet.
Along with her husband and her parents, she is survived by her son Timothy Costa, daughter in law Allison Costa, grandson Thomas Costa, her siblings Tony Arruda, Maria Cacilhas, John Arruda, Serafim Arruda, Dee Pereira, and Margarida Paula Arruda , and many nieces, nephews, and godchildren .
Relatives and friends are invited to celebrate a Mass of Christian Burial at St. Michael’s Church at 10 A.M. on Friday, Oct. 1st, followed by interment in St. Patrick’s Cemetery.
