New Bedford – Gary Pimentel, age 39, of Dartmouth, passed away on Saturday, September 25, 2021 at St. Luke’s Hospital. Born in New Bedford, he was the beloved son of Alfredo and Maria A. (Sousa) Pimentel.
Gary had worked over the years for South Coast Construction Co. He enjoyed fishing and the times he spent with his family, especially during the holidays.
Gary is survived by his parents, Alfredo and Maria Pimentel; his paternal grandmother, Maria E. Pimentel; his brother, Jeffrey Pimentel; children, Delylah Pimentel and Dekotah Pimentel; mother of his children, Crystal Oliver; stepson, Darsean Alves; niece, Destiny Pimentel; and great-nieces, Serenity and Sariyah Santos.
He was also the brother of the late Jason Pimentel.
Gary’s visiting hours will be held on Friday, October 1, 2021 from 8:00 A.M. – 10:00 A.M. at Perry Funeral Home and followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at Our Lady of Mount Carmel Church at 10:30 A.M. Burial will immediately follow in Rural Cemetery.
Gary's family has asked for everyone attending his Viewing to pay their respects and kindly exit. Everyone is invited to join them after at Mt Carmel Church for 10:30 A.M.
