Ruth G. Weldon a longtime resident of Ossining passed away peacefully on September 27, 2021, at home, surrounded by her family. Mrs. Weldon was born August 5, 1929 in New York City to George and Annabelle Burke Glynn. She was 92. Ruth was a parishioner of St. Ann’s Church and was the matriarch of Ganung Drive. She enjoyed her time with family cooking dinners. Ruth had been a resident of Ossining for nearly seventy years. She is survived by two sons Joseph Jr (Deirdre) and Kevin (Anne), four daughters Linda, Denise (Bruce) Edwards, Jeanne and Anne (Scott) Cianfaglione. Eleven grandchildren, 4 great grandchildren, nieces and nephews. Ruth is predeceased by her husband Joseph and son Timmy. Visiting at the Hawthorne Funeral Home, 21 W. Stevens Avenue on Wednesday, September 29th from 4-8pm. Funeral Mass St Ann’s Church, Ossining on Thursday at 10am. Interment following at Mount Calvary Cemetery, White Plains.
