Patricia Ann Lord Moreira, 82, formerly of Pawcatuck Connecticut, passed away peacefully on September 26, 2021 from complications following a brief illness. She was born April 26, 1939 in Westerly RI to Arline Ross Lord (predeceased) and Thomas A. Lord Jr. (predeceased). She was a graduate of Stonington High School Class of 1956. On July 20, 1957 she was married to John C. Kluttz (predeceased). On July 29, 1977 she married Edwin Moreira Sr. (predeceased).
She retired from Groton Chelsea Bank and worked for Foxwoods Casino as a cashier for 14 years.
She is survived by biological daughters Karen Kluttz Lavariere of Maine, Lori Kluttz Hall of Maine, Jennifer (Kluttz) Crawford of Maryland, and her three step children Angela Moreira of Connecticut, Lisa Moreira of Connecticut and Edwin Moreira Jr of New York. She has 8 grandchildren and 5 great grandchildren.
She is survived by her sister "Maggie" Jane Lord Dunning Papachristo of Massachusetts, her niece Phaedra Papachristo and nephews Jesse Dunning and Nikos Papachristo.
