Donnie Wayne Vandergrifft, 77, of Alexandria passed away at Ascension St. Vincent Anderson on September 24, 2021 following a brief illness.
He was born on September 9, 1944 in Missouri to Donald and Evelyn (Peppers) Vandergrifft. He was employed as a print press operator for many years at Business and Rowland Printing.
He is survived by his wife, Reba (Ryan) Vandergrifft of Alexandria whom he married on September 6, 2002 in Anderson; three sons, Chad, Clint and Darrell Vandergrifft all of Arizona; step-daughter, Nicole McCormick of Georgia; several grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his parents; a brother, Douglas and a sister, Blanche.
Per his wishes, there will be no visitation or services. Memorial contributions may be given to his family to help with funeral expenses.
