Judith Ann Wirtz Lafferty, 74, of Ray City passed away Thursday, September 23, 2021, at South Georgia Medical Center in Valdosta. Her funeral service will be held at 2:00 p.m. Tuesday, September 28, 2021, in the Chapel of Bowen-Donaldson Home for Funerals with the Rev. Joseph L. Crumley officiating. Mrs. Lafferty will be laid to rest at a later date.
Born March 12, 1947, in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, Mrs. Lafferty was the daughter of the late Frances Xavier Wirtz and Mildred M. Gordon Wirtz. She was also preceded in death by one brother, Frances Wirtz; and one sister, Linda Wirtz. She was retired from food servicee. She loved ceramics, collecting crystal and watching sports. She also loved red roses and carnations and she loved to cook.
Mrs. Lafferty is survived by her husband, Kevin Lafferty of Ray City; one daughter, Michele Rinde of Ray City; and one grandson, Kevin Robert Rinde.
