ENGLISH, Martha A. 73 of Brewster formerly of Beacon Hill and Wellesley, September 16, 2020. Beloved daughter of the late John and Margaret (Gibbons) English. Sister of the late Jane MacDonald. Aunt of Daniel A. MacDonald and his wife Jennifer of Jacksonville, NC and Ian MacDonald and his wife Carol of Mendon. Grand-aunt of Jane MacDonald.
Martha was a graduate of Wellesley High School class of 1966, Westbrook College, Maine 1968, and Wheaton College in Norton 1970. She received her master’s in English from Boston University in 1981. She worked at the Gillette Headquarters and retired from State Street Financial in 2001 and moved to Brewster. During Martha's retirement years she took to painting Cape Cod scenery.
A celebration of life will be held at a later date.
