Joan C. Dolan, 82, formerly of Scituate, died Tuesday, September 21, 2021 at Riverview Nursing and Rehabilitation Center in Coventry. She was the widow of Victor A. Dolan, who died in 2011.
Born in Providence, RI, she was a daughter of the late Walter and Mary (Pilkington) Andronik. She had lived in Coventry for the past six years and had previously lived in Scituate for 21 years.
She was a claims representative for MetLife before her retirement. She was a mentor at Drumrock School and enjoyed crafts, knitting and reading. She had been a member of the religious order of Felician Sisters Convent in Enfield, CT.
She is survived by her daughters: Kimberly Charron of Coventry, Jennifer Lema and her husband, Justin of Glocester, her grandchildren: Cameron Masiello of Glocester, Mason Charron, Myles Charron and Madelyn Charron all of Coventry. She was the sister of the late Helen Mangei and her late husband, Lawrence Mangei.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be held Saturday, October 2, 2021 at 10am in St. Joseph Church, Main Street, Scituate. Burial will be private. Visitation Friday, October 1s, 2021, 5-7pm in the Anderson-Winfield Funeral Home, Rt 44 at Greenville Common, Greenville.
