Mary Frances (Kelley) Lynch passed away peacefully on Thursday, September 16, 2021 after a brief illness at the home of her son, she was just one day shy of her 82nd birthday.
Born on September 17, 1939 in Somerville, MA, she was a daughter of the late Stephen Kelley and the late Nora Lee (McNamara) Kelley. She grew up and was educated in Somerville. After graduating high school, she started her own cleaning company, which she maintained and operated for over 30 years before her retirement.
She enjoyed sewing, cooking, as well as the beach. She had a keen eye for antiques. She was a devout Catholic, and she enjoyed working with the Easter Seals during her retirement years and well into her 80’s, helping the elderly and those less fortunate. Surely, she was welcomed into the gates of Heaven by those who have gone before her.
She is survived by her children, Catherine Branchanow of Shirley and Robert J. Coughlin and his wife, Christine, of Salem, NH, her grandson, Josh Kelley of Lowell and many other relatives and friends.
