Isabelle (Belle) L. (Stevens) Kane, 91, of East Bridgewater, MA passed away on September 18, 2021 at home. Born in Hanover, NH, she was the daughter of Frank and Evelyn (Lufkin) Stevens.
Isabelle graduated from Vermont Junior College as well as the Wilson School of Laboratory Technique in Boston. It was here that she met her husband, Edward (Ted) Kane.
Prior to raising a family, Isabelle worked as a lab technician at the Goddard hospital. Isabelle enjoyed being an active member of the Union Congregational Church in East Bridgewater, quilting, and gardening. She was a long-time member of the East Bridgewater Garden Club and loved planting at the senior center, as well as beautifying the trough planter in the center of town.
Isabelle was a devoted wife and the loving mother of four children. She is survived by her husband of 69 years, Ted Kane, her four children Robert Kane of East Bridgewater, MA, Patricia Provost of Plympton, MA, Susan Leite of Cornville, ME, and Steven Kane of Middleboro, MA. She will also be missed by her four grandchildren, Kerri Trumbull of East Bridgewater, Kristi Wise of Cape Coral, FL, Stephanie and Rachel Kane of Middleboro, MA, as well as her four great-grandchildren. Belle will be remembered for her gentle manor, kind heart, and generous and loving personality.
Her memorial service will be held on October 9th at 10:30AM in the Union Congregational Church, East Bridgewater
