Maria Defatima Andrade (65) of Brockton died September 18th at home under hospice care surrounded by her loving family.
She was born in Mosteiros, Fogo, Cape Verde, daughter of the late Ovidio Andrade and Maria Andrade. Maria was a communicant of St. Edith Stein Church and loved plants, going to church, socializing with family and friends and was known to always give a helping hand.
Maria is survived by her son Mario Jorge Rodrigues of Brockton, 2 daughters, Armanda Andrade and husband Luis and Xoxa Andrade and husband Ismael all of Brockton, 3 brothers, Jose Andrade of Netherlands, Licinio and Alexandro Andrade both of Brockton, her sister Rosa Andrade of Brockton, 4 grandchildren, Tyreek, Misael, Tyrel and Mila.
Visitation in the Home of Funerarias Multi Culturel, 238 Court Street Brockton Sunday September 26th from 5-8 pm. Services in the Funeral Home Monday September 27th at 9 am. Followed by a Funeral Mass in St. Edith Stein Church, 71 E Main Street Brockton at 10:30 am. Burial to follow in Melrose Cemetery, 88 N Pearl Street Brockton.
