Andoneta Panariti, 86, of Worcester died Saturday, September 18th at home surrounded by her family. Her husband of 56 years, Koco Panariti died in 2010. She leaves a son, Petrika Panariti of Chicago; two daughters, Evlonda Asllani of Quincy and Zhulieta Loci of Worcester; six grandchildren, Nikoleta, Elena, Todior, Lorena, Megi and Kelly; and three great grandchildren.
She was born in Albania, the daughter of Manol and Evanthi Manco, and immigrated to the United States in 1999 with her husband. Andoneta was a member of St. Mary’s Assumption Albanian Orthodox Church and enjoyed volunteering at the church and within the Albanian community. She was a great chef, she enjoyed dressing up and spending time with her family especially her grandchildren. She is known for her kind-hearted spirit and she touched the lives of everyone she met.
Her funeral is Wednesday, September 22 with a service at 11:00 a.m. in St. Mary’s Assumption Albanian Orthodox Church, 535 Salisbury Street. Burial will follow in Hope Cemetery. Visitation will be from 10:00 a.m. until the start of the service. In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to Overlook Hospice, 88 Masonic Home Road, Charlton, MA 01507.
