On Sunday September 12, we lost a very loving, caring, kindhearted family member and friend to many, our brother Bruce Biron. Bruce was born Dec. 21, 1959. He was a Husband to David Guerrero, Father to Jesse Biron, Grandfather to Savannah Jayne Biron, Brother to Maurice Biron (wife Laurie), David Biron (wife Jacqueline), Linda Biron Dupont (husband Pierre), Daniel Biron (wife Tammy) and Douglas Biron (wife Susan). In addition, he was a son and loving brother to his husband’s family, including momma Nela Guerrero, sisters Estela Urias, Carmen Guerrero, Yolie Guerrero and brothers Frank and Adam Guerrero. Bruce was also a treasured uncle to several nieces and nephews. Bruce was predeceased by his parents Arthur P. Biron in 1982 and Agnes L. Biron-Thompson in 2020. If one was extremely blessed to know Bruce as we were, you will know what a kind, loving, gentle soul he was. He made our lives richer by being a part of his life. We will all miss him dearly.
In his life, Bruce held the esteemed role of Executive Chef at Stanford University, and formerly worked as executive chef at Harvard University’s Kennedy School of Government. A graduate of the Culinary Institute of America, Bruce had the pleasure of preparing meals for a wide range of dignitaries, from the Dalai Lama to Hillary Clinton and has shared the kitchen with such culinary masters as Julia Child and Jacques Pepin. Bruce was committed to highlighting the diversity and authenticity of healthy foods and promoting organic choices whenever possible.
There will be no gravesite services. An intimate Celebration of Life will be held with immediate family only.
