FALL RIVER – Dulce M. Valentim, age 67, passed away peacefully on September 15, 2021 at Tufts Medical Center with her family by her side. She was the beloved wife of the late Jose Humberto Valentim for 49 years. Born in Ajuda de Bretanha, São Miguel, Açores, she was the daughter of the late Manuel and Luisa (Pimentel) Sousa. Dulce loved spending time with her family, especially her grandchildren. She was a parishioner of St. Michael’s Church.
She leaves behind her two daughters: Carla Travassos (husband Joseph) and Sandra Pacheco (husband Victor) all of Assonet; many siblings: Rosarinha, Maria Luisa, Ilda, Rosa, Manuel Antone, Dimas, Maria Jose, Maria Helena, Liliana, Nancy, Joe and Lisa; grandchildren: Brandon & Aidan Pacheco, Abigail & Hailey Travassos; as well as many nieces & nephews.
Relatives and friends are invited to celebrate a mass of Christian Burial at St. Michael’s Church at 10 A.M. on Monday, September 20th. Entombment at Notre Dame Mausoleum.
